Surrounded by 7,000 hectares of private concession, Mkulumadzi enjoys an idyllic location at the confluence of two rivers shaded by giant leadwood trees. It is the perfect combination of splendid isolation and first-class facilities.
Undiscovered by tourists, Majete is a true wilderness where every trip into the bush with our team of experienced guides will feel like an adventure.

The lodge

Guests arrive by a footbridge suspended over the Mkulumadzi River to discover a friendly welcome and many home comforts. The lodge has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a lounge and terrace, a bar and shop, swimming pool, viewing deck and a lapa for evening campfires.
The lodge has eight superb chalets, each with spacious living quarters and private viewing deck. Guests can swim in our pool, dine under the stars, enjoy river cruises, game drives and walking safaris.

Child Policy:

* There is no age restriction for children.

An idyllic, exclusive camp on our very own private isle on the Zambezi River, it is the only luxury bush camp from where Victoria Falls can comfortably be explored. Experience the large number of activities in the area during the day and return to a tranquil haven, a thousand light years away from the bustle at night. Sindabezi Island is currently one of the top 10 eco lodges in Africa.

Sindabezi Chalets:

Sindabezi has only five open-sided thatched cottages, allowing guests to soak up the sights and sounds of the African bush in the perfect, pristine setting. Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby National Park complete the experience. Sindabezi Island is also the perfect private venue to book for small groups.
Many guests combined Sindabezi with a stay at its sister property Tongabezi Lodge, a short boat ride away.

Dining:

Sindabezi Island offers the opportunity to sink bare toes into white sand under the dinner table, opt for a hosted meal shared with other island goers or have a table set up in or near your chalet.

There is no set pattern to days at Tongabezi. Guests can do as much or as little as they wish, with game drives, bush walks and boating trips all included in the price. The majestic Victoria Falls can be viewed from a short excursion with your guide, from inside the gorge, from Livingstone Island and from the air.

Privately owned and run, Tongabezi combines romance and exclusivity with warm and attentive service. Each house and cottage has its own valet who takes care of guests throughout their stay and acts as a private concierge.
There are 5 Cottages, 4 Houses, and for something unique there is Nut House and Dog House.

Boulders Safari Camp is undoubtedly the most exclusive camp at Wolwedans.

Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings…

The main area consists of a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck and open fireplace. Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings.

From Boulders Safari Camp you will explore the deep south of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Guided scenic drives, or two to three hour walking safaris treading along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen, will happily fill your days.

Boulders provides a classic safari experience and the camp calls for a two night stay - ideally booked in combination with one or two nights at any of the other camps in the dunes.

* Children (sharing with parents) younger than 12 yrs
* Children who share a room with parents pay 25% of adult rate as we will put in an extra bed/matress. In consideration of other guests, please note that babies and kids under 6 years old can only stay at Wolwedans if a camp is booked exclusively, or the family stays at either Private Camp or Mountain View Suite).

Just 10 elegant suites nestle in Tuli Safari Lodge’s peaceful, spacious gardens.

* All children are welcome at Tuli Safari Lodge under strict adult supervision.
