The Chobe Marina Lodge boasts a stylish, state-of-the-art conference venue and conferencing equipment ideal for product launches overlooking the Chobe River and into the Caprivi strip of Namibia. 100 seater conference room. They also have 2x15 seater boardroom or breakaway rooms.

Chobe National Park Game Viewing

Game drives in the Chobe National Park offer excellent game viewing opportunities. If you allow yourself adequate time there you will probably see nearly all the major species giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog.

Sundowners Cruise

Very few people travel to Victoria Falls without taking at least the famous sundowner cruise down the Zambezi River. What better way to view wildlife, including numerous bird species, than drifting slowly down a side channel, the silence broken only by bird calls. From the boat, it is possible to see herds of mighty elephant, giraffe, hippo and other wild animals returning to the Chobe River to quench their thirst.

Sightseeing cruise to Sedudu island

No trip to Chobe would be complete without a including a leisurely sightseeing cruise to Sedudu Island. Sedudu Island, as it is known to the people of Botswana, is submerged by floods for several months of the year. White Water Rafting - Victoria Falls
This is the wildest white water on the planet and the actual experience surpasses this analogy. White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls has been classified by the British Canoe Union as Grade 5 - extremely difficult, long and violent rapids, steep gradients, big drops and pressure areas. The Zambezi River is classified as a high volume, pool-drop river as there is little exposed rock either in the rapid or the pools below the rapids.

Kasane is at the north-eastern boundary of the Chobe National Park. With a perfect location right on the Chobe River, the Chobe Marina Lodge is just a few kilometres from the entrance to Chobe National Park and 10 minutes from the airport. The town of Kasane lies on the South bank of the Chobe River. For years tourists have been using Kasane as a gateway to the Chobe National Park and it was from this town that David Livingstone made his greatest find, Mosioatunya-Victoria falls. Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is just a short drive away about two hours.

Kasane and it is road links make it a popular point for tourists to the park as well as those including it in an itinerary taking in the Okavango Delta. Kasane is the northern end of the tarred highway from Francistown and Gaborone which is an artery between Southern and Central Africa.

The park has an amazing variety of habitats, which range from floodplains to verdant grasslands and thickets bordering the Chobe River. Victoria Falls is one of the most impressive natural wonders of the world - you will be swept away by its magnificence. You can enjoy a walking trail through the rainforest taking in the Vic Falls beauty. Victoria Falls is Africas adventure capital. Test your fear of heights by bungi jumping off the railway bridge. If that doesnt get your adrenalin pumping then strap on a life jacket and board a rubber dingy for some exciting white water river rafting.

The Caprivi area is the panhandle strip in north-eastern Namibia. It has been described as Namibias answer to the Okavango Delta, to the west, you will find a fascinating region full of wildlife-rich game parks and lots of bird-watching and sightseeing opportunities. In the many parks in the Caprivi Strip you can see up to 400 bird species, including squacco herons, longtoed plovers, western banded snake eagles, lesser blue-eared starlings and many more.

Situated in the Northern part of Botswana is Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta. Chobe National Park is famous for its huge herds of elephants and the combination of seasonal floodplains and grasslands means you can enjoy a game drive in the morning and a river cruise in the afternoon.
